Chris is a restaurateur, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Houston-based Treadsack Group, known for creating innovative restaurants and hospitality concepts. Alongside partner Joey Treadway, he helped launch acclaimed venues including Down House, D&T Drive Inn, Johnny’s Gold Brick, Hunky Dory, Foreign Correspondents, and Bernadine’s. Beyond restaurants, Chris co-founded Sugar & Rice, a magazine celebrating Gulf Coast food and culture. A lifelong Houstonian, he is recognised for his creative approach to hospitality, community building, and restaurant entrepreneurship, helping shape Houston’s vibrant culinary scene.
