David is the founder and chairman of IDEO, a pioneering global design and innovation firm, and a renowned entrepreneur, educator, and inventor. A professor of product design at Stanford University, he founded the university’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school), helping shape a new generation of design thinkers and innovators. A member of the National Academy of Engineering, Kelley has received numerous honors, including the Sir Misha Black Medal, the Edison Achievement Award for Innovation, and the Smithsonian’s National Design Award for Product Design.
