Ming Tsai is a James Beard Award-winning chef, restaurateur, television host, and cookbook author renowned for his innovative East-West cuisine. A Yale graduate with a master’s degree from Cornell, he is the chef-owner of the acclaimed Blue Ginger and Blue Dragon restaurants. Tsai is the Emmy Award-winning host of East Meets West with Ming Tsai and the longtime host of PBS’s Simply Ming. A leading advocate for food allergy awareness, he helped shape landmark restaurant safety legislation and serves as a national spokesperson for Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE).
