Abigail is an acclaimed filmmaker, philanthropist, author, and advocate for social justice, women’s leadership, and peacebuilding. As an executive producer of the documentary series Women, War & Peace and producer of Pray the Devil Back to Hell, she has used storytelling to highlight issues of conflict resolution, human rights, and gender equality. Disney has also supported numerous socially impactful films, including Sun Come Up, an Academy Award-nominated documentary. Beyond filmmaking, she co-founded the Daphne Foundation, which supports low-income communities across New York City. A graduate of Yale University, Stanford University, and Columbia University, Disney is a respected public speaker and thought leader on philanthropy, social impact, women’s empowerment, and documentary filmmaking.
