Captain Sandy is a United States Coast Guard–licensed Master of Oceans (1600T/3000T) and Maritime Coastguard Agency Class IV CEC captain, widely respected for her professionalism, resilience, and leadership in the yachting industry. Having overcome a life-threatening motorcycle accident, piracy, and cancer, Sandy uses her experience to educate and inspire others, including appearances on The Doctors. She currently stars as captain on Bravo’s Below Deck Mediterranean, where her hands-on, teachable-moments leadership style has earned her fan-favorite recognition.
