Carolyn is a Senior Advisor at Permira, one of the world's largest Private Equity investment firms. She is a business leader and board director for The Coca-Cola Company, The Walt Disney Company, and other global organizations, with deep expertise in media and consumer-facing businesses. She served as president of Instacart and previously spent over a decade at Meta (Facebook), where as Vice President of the Global Business Group she led a 4,000-person team and oversaw more than $80 billion in revenue. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Viacom, Accenture, and Walt Disney Imagineering. Carolyn also serves on nonprofit and academic boards including Villanova University, the Humane Society of the United States, and Columbia Medical School, and holds degrees from Villanova University and Harvard Business School.
