José Andrés is a Spanish-American chef, restaurateur, humanitarian, and bestselling author widely recognized for transforming modern Spanish cuisine in the United States. A multiple James Beard Award winner, he is credited with popularizing tapas in America and operates acclaimed restaurants nationwide. Andrés is the founder of World Central Kitchen, the nonprofit that provides meals to communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises around the world.
