Sal is an educator, entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of Khan Academy, the nonprofit learning platform serving more than 180 million learners worldwide in over 50 languages. Since launching Khan Academy in 2004, he has led its mission to provide free, high-quality education for anyone, anywhere. Khan also serves as Vision Steward and board member at TED, and supports innovative education initiatives including Schoolhouse.world and Khan Lab School. He is the author of The One World Schoolhouse and Brave New Words, and is a leading voice on the future of education, technology, and AI-powered learning.
